This year’s GISRUK will be held at the Priory Road Complex, which is a teaching and events space at the University of Bristol. It is situated in the heart of campus, close to the Clifton Down train station.

Famous Royal Navy Volunteer (April 22nd, Early Career Researcher Social)

The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer (or “Volley”) is a craft beer and cider pub operating in some fashion as a pub since the late 17th Century. It serves a selection of local craft ales and local regional specialty ciders.

Browns Brasseries (April 24th, Conference Dinner)

Browns Brasserie is a dining and event space near the University of Bristol. It is located between the skyline-defining Wills Memorial Tower and the School of Geographical Sciences on the region of Bristol affectionately known as “the Triangle,” with many other shops and amenities. The menu for the conference dinner is online and a survey for dinner choices will be circulated before the event.
